Lisa Sinclair –  Interior Designer, Vita Design Inc

I graduated with a Interior Design degree from Kwantlen Polytechnic University in 1998. After graduating from KPU, I remained in Vancouver for several years where I worked for a small but well established commercial design firm. They were a very talented group with a strong client base, and I was lucky enough to be launched right into the deep end. It was there that I developed my passion for the industry. In 2001, I returned to Victoria to start my own company, Vita Design Inc. For the last 14 years, I have worked on residential and commercial projects in both Victoria, Vancouver and internationally. I love that design is not static. Like fashion and beauty, it is constantly changing and evolving as new methods, techniques and products becomes available. I think that good design style speaks for itself. When I am not busy at work, I am busy with my lovable chaotic family, visiting great friends, doing health challenges or exercising. I am eager to share my passion for interior design, health& fitness, style and beauty (Beautycounter makeup) on Jody’s blog.

Sandi Piercy – Real Estate Advisor, Engel & Volkers Vancouver Island

I am a realtor with Engel & Völkers in Victoria. I’ve run my own business, figured out the ins and outs of local government and school district, and I am an active community volunteer. Connection to the community gives a sense of comfort and belonging, which is how we all want to feel about where we live. When I’m not working hard for my clients, I’m likely trying out a new gluten-free recipe, enjoying the outdoors, or fitting in a challenging fitness class. Health and fitness are an important part of keeping life more balanced. My perfect lifestyle includes satisfying work, a comfortable home to raise a family and maintaining healthy habits like fitness and eating well – and some vacation time, too!

When asked to be a contributor to the Living Hollis Style Blog, I worried about my knowledge of “beauty”. However, everyone that walks into a home knows: “good bones”, charm, style or just lipstick. I am surrounded by my beautiful family and friends, so maybe I know more than I thought?

Tiffany Ling – RN, Extreme Baker and Cookie Fiend

Hi Everyone. My name is Tiffany and I am a cookie fiend. Or a cupcake fiend. Whichever one strikes my fancy but usually both. From time to time I experiment with cheesecakes when I have more patience! I’ve always enjoyed experimenting with cooking and baking. Growing up with two other sisters, I was always the one hanging around the kitchen watching my mom cook and bake. I would sit around and play with my own little dough balls and taste all of her food before it was even ready! As I got older I would partake in Home Economics classes in high school and when everyone else was moving onto other extracurriculars I stuck with my baking and food studies classes. Now I bake in my free time when I’m not slaving away in the hospital as a nurse. My hobby centres around baking for big holidays because I love to experiment with different themed decorations. I’ve always been artistic and creative since childhood (despite my dad’s dearest wishes for me to become a genius mathematician doctor). I am excited to be sharing some of my baking creations through Jody’s blog!
